Enchanted Protection (S1 Ep.3-6)

Charlie was right in his observation, I wish I could take care of the kitten. I don't know how he ended up hidden in that bush, I don’t know if he was lost and I feared he had been abandoned. I was afraid because if it was so he wouldn't have been the only one, for sure. Despite the doubts and the curiosity to find out who could have done such a heinous act, there was a link between me and this little one that I was trying to dispel looking for a reason for his mysterious appearance.
With Charlie’s help, one less concern on my mind. Let the negative thoughts and I focused on what I needed, for now, would be to find and prepare the kitten transport.
Upon leaving Charlie’s room I went to the garage. When I walked through the kitchen, I looked at the glass bowls and these were practically empty. The kitten played by jumping in an attempt to catch a fly, which there was flying and, from time to time, would hit against the glass of the kitchen’s door. Seemed to have new vitality. His persistence in hunting the fly was adorable, his intention didn't seem to be, in fact, catch it, but be only play with.
His tail was no longer between his hind legs, which indicated to me that he was no longer scared, or was much less. For the few minutes that I was absent, I saw a noticeable difference in the kitten. His small and fragile body didn't look so hurt, his charming and captivating expression conveyed calm to my fears.
As I open the door which gives access to the garage and immediately saw the boxes that Charlie had spoken. I observed them making sure they were empty. Then I made a few small holes with a pencil and after put it in a blanket that I took from the shelf of the baskets.
I heard Charlie's voice, coming from the kitchen, so I lurk and there he was talking with the kitten while petting his neck.
Rose: He's so sweet, isn't he?
Charlie: Yes, he is! Are you ready, Rose?
Rose: Almost! Are you're about to leave?
Charlie: Yes. Do you need help?
Rose: I don't think so, I've put the blanket and made holes in the box. Now is just take the kitten.
Charlie: Ok, I wait in the car.
Rose: Ok.
I took the kitten, tucked him in my right arm and with the left hand caressed his fur, while I explained where I was taken him and why. When I put him on the blanket, he rubbed it for a bit, then took a turn and a half and lay down. Because I feard he might try to jump on the way to the vet clinic, I closed the box’s tabs before caring him to Charlie’s car.
The play with the fly must have tired him because he was quiet the whole way.
