Kitten’s corner (S1 Ep.3-9)

(First Quarter) Sanday, June 16
Early in the morning, I started the work. With the planning done, sketches made and once I had some of the material I needed, I started to do the things for the kitten.
With every measure calculation to make the molds, with each cut piece of material to sew, with each tack, I was closer to complete some pieces and as I finish them dispose along my room.
At the middle of the morning, I had some of the toys, planned for the kitten, made, so I challenged him to play, in way of practising his hunting skills. And how he got excited. Jumped and jumped to follow the movements of the small bird, but he didn’t try to catch it. I put down the toy, the kitten approached, sniffed it out and crouched beside this, keeping one paw on each side, as he peered around I wondering - "what is he doing? Are you guarding the little bird?"
Maybe he was already tired of playing. When I removed the toy, he watched me as I put it in a small box and went to his box, which still in the room at least until I finish the bed for him. And again he did something very funny to watch, he gives a turn and half, rubs the blanket and then nests. It's really funny to see. With the kitten making his morning nap I took the time to get back to work.
By lunchtime, we were both downstairs. In a plate, I put the food contained in one of the bags that I bought as kitten food. In the time that I opened the kitchen door and prepared my own plate, the kitten had finished up his plate. He looked at me licking around his mouth as he loosened a little strange meow, low and intermittent. - Go, you can go. – I said pointing to the outside. But he didn't go out of the kitchen. So, with my plate and the cutlery in hands, I went to the stairs, I sat down and when I looked back I didn’t have to call him. There he came, slowly, sniffing every corner.
After lunch, we stayed outside to enjoy the beautiful day a little more. With more confidence, the kitten was now all over the backyard. I've cleaned up the kitchen, went to the garage to get a blanket, which I laid out in the backyard and went to my room to get the next project to start working. As I finalized one a went to the room save it and bring another.
In the evening most of the pieces, I had planned to do, were ready and stayed in my room. The kitten toy box was next to the chiffonier, the network bed was under the desk chair, the tunnel next to the desk, the gym, which I bought, was near to the tunnel, one of the birdies, I made, I attatch by a row on the wall, the calendar , that Mr Luís gave me, and the folder that I made to his documents, I put on the wall above the tunnel, made a cat shaped bag for hygiene products and I put it in the bathroom along with the sand box for his needs.
The hope of maintaining a long friendship with this being it was the main motivation for today's projects, to transform my small space in a room for two, and thus as part of the family, the kitten had now his little corner too!
The day was coming to an end and with the enthusiasm of recent events, I was so involved in the work of the pieces to the kitten that I forgot to check if Joan sent me the e-mail with the list of orders. And with this idea in mind, I started dreaming with my eyes open with a space dedicated to the comfort of our four-legged friends. - "I could make beautiful clothes, toys and accessories for them. Hum... Well, I could create a personalization service, keeping articles for owners and their buddies. Yes, I think it's a good idea, let's see what Joan thinks about!"
