I see two parts of you (S1 Ep.4-10)

Tuesday, June 18
After an afternoon, worried about Joan, I was anxious to see her today. I had hoped that after the subject so important that she had to deal with yesterday, could tell me what was going on, but in vain.
Despite a certain sadness in her eyes she was a little more relaxed, seemed more peaceful, but still not opened up to me.
As we agreed, we spent the morning at the Municipal Library doing research and taking notes on businesses similar to what we wanted, the historical evolution of the textile sector, as well as laws and small notions of marketing.
It was exhausting, however, rewarding. There was a lot of information, including books with reports of success, it was very important to us have these notions and be aware of the effort, work and dedication needed to achieve our goals.
We took from this research important tips for the next steps to follow, but with so much information we had acquired it was important both of us were synchronized and I could not help feeling that Joan was hiding something, I couldn't focus 100%. It was not mere curiosity, I was worried about her. In a short space time, Joan had changed so much. I haven't seen anymore the delicate girl, who liked to talk about her accessories, her discoveries about tips for outfits, make-up, manicure... She was different and I had no doubts left. She was more convinced, more ladylike, more of a woman. Maybe the weight of history that her grandma was passing at each visit made her grow up a little more every day, maybe! But why would she have that sadness in her eyes?!
Rose: I got two orders ready, how do you want to do? Will you pass by my home later? Or do you want me to deliver it?
Joan: I was thinking that after lunch we headed for your house. To work on the pieces together.
Rose: Good! It can be, of course. Look, I got the weekly schedule ready, take a look and tell me what do you think.
Joan: The practice in the morning, that’s nice.
Rose: Since Charlie goes in the morning to the beach, we could get the ride.
Joan: Yes, of course! It’s excellent, we can enjoy the beach a little bit more too. To me it's great. What do you said if instead we begin at 1 pm, we start at 1:30 pm and "call for the day" at 4:30 pm.
Rose: One hour and a half of lunch, it’s very good.
Joan: Look at us, all professionals, love it!
The sparkle of Joan was back and her enthusiasm was catchy. So much it made me forget for a moment the suspicion that I had about she hiding from me something. In a way, looked like the old Joan returned, the same goals as when she encouraged me to initiate this project.
We gather all the material from our research and went home, expecting us was an afternoon full of work. With lunch, we refilled the energies, as we played with Kat, we relaxed and then got to work. Joan took care of orders, putting everything on our new schedule and I manufacture the pieces.
