The symbolism of the Design (S1 Ep.4-13)

What a good news! When I got home rejoiced myself with the idea of having our own stand shop at the Summer Festival. In one word, AMAZING!

Despite the frenzy running through my body I saw and resaw the ideas pre-established studying them a little more. I felt with each step we were going in the right direction. And I did know extra hours of work were in need but the effort made at the time would hopefully pay off.

My main concern at that point was the fact Joan and I didn’t reach a conclusion about the name of the brand because we still not discussed it. Joan Likes “Fashion”, however, she thought we could play with words to create a fun name. I like the sound of “Rose Fashion”, not because it’s my name, but because it remembers me the delicacy of a rose and with this idea, I thought we could create a funny logo, yet, when I pronounced it I felt something was missing.

Sitting in my little haven, at the window of my room, dedicated this time to think about the name that could represent and easily identify our project. While appreciating my sweet Kat asleep, some of my ideas mingle with what I already imagine to transmit by the image of what I intended to represent. – He is so cute. – Said to myself and then I realized “Kat Rose Fashion”, has the name Joan chose for the kitten, has my name and the subject of our work.

Perfect! Just needed to talk to Joan and if she agreed the name of our project would be then "Kat Rose Fashion".

After a few weeks developing the idea of our project, we had, practically, a preliminary project in hands. What was supposed to be a hobby was taking larger proportions and what really surprised me was the fact that I didn’t hesitate to be the face of the project. Well, not exactly the face, of course, the fear of being the centre of attention still there. But I had so much fun in the school’s presentation of the spring/summer collection, that I only thought about repeating the experience.

And now I was eager to share my suggestion for the name of our project. With the release of concern after concern, all were getting together, like a pencil traces reveal the picture sketched.
