And the party continues... (S1 Ep.9-3)
I felt different, the weight of 15 years, or so I thought! I know, fifteen years equal to immaturity. But, in this age, in addition to the quest for maturity, our body changes, mood changes, the need to idealize the future, concerns about the choice of the right course to join the University, keep the high notes, to have a chance to choose, with the coordination of the day-to-day classes, study, sports, the home tasks... Equals to "teen drama"!
While started cleaning the garden, as I reviewed all the decoration that still exposed, I created this theory. Yesterday, after my illness, come to this environment gave me welfare. Maybe I transposed the relief from of my worries that this place gave me to my dreams.
My theory of being tired and burdened with the pressure of all the tasks that still had to be done, gained strength when the girls showed up, as a surprise, to help with the clean-up. My thoughts became more concentrated, it was as if a weight came out of my shoulders, I felt myself relax.
Rose: Hello girls! What are you doing here?
Joan: We heard that you had leftovers from the party and we're here to help you with them.
Monic: That also...
Todos: Ahahaha
Monic: But first we're going to help you clean up! We don't want to see Ms Marya upset.
Dianne: That it’s for sure!
Charlie: Mom knows how Rose is responsible. She is allowed to do almost everything!
Rose: I had an idea! Charlie, why don't you call the boys to join us?! We do a little tidbit while we pack up all of this...
Joan: … And then to the beach!
I needed to relax, Joan's words came at a good time. I did not stand against the idea due to the fact that I did have a lot of work to do with the new collection.
It was like a second birthday party, tiny, however, equally fantastic.
After the garbage bags full, after the ground washed and the decorations stowed, we put some sweets, snacks, drinks and glasses into the picnic basket and went to the beach. We were at the end of September, the summer was gone and the warm sun was about to go away too. Then, we took the opportunity of being all together this Saturday to have fun, one last time this year on the beach!
Although to Dianne, wasn't any fun, watch the awkwardness between her and Mario, I confess that from where I stood it was a little bit fun. It seemed that both have a lot to talk to each other, but none of them was about to take the first step.
While we played dodgeball-three, a game in which we, in circle, make the volleyball be in the air thru passes between us and counting from the third pass, the last person to touch the ball, before it touches the ground, get out of the game, and in the normal bumps from the game they even avoided each other. They crossed looks with so much affection, but the only words that both utter to each other were "sorry" if they couldn't avoid the confrontation.
Monic: Those two, go figure!
Joan: If you being cousin and know her better than anyone, don't get it, imagine we...
Monic: We have to do something.
Sofie: Why don't we make a little bonfire party?
Joan: Nice, Sofie! The computer girl is getting loose.
Sofie: After an entire summer working for my mother, I need to relax.
Joan: But the party alone won't help.
Sofie: No, but someone has to pick up the light, the matches, the wood… Do I need to continue?
Monic: And isn't that just might work!
Joan: It’s going to work. They just need a little push...
