In the school gym (S1 Ep.9-11)
Diane was not counting on
us, but as we were going to spend the afternoon together, I suggested to Joan
that, rather than spend the morning, completely unfocused,
working on the pieces, it would be much more compensatory if we came to help.
Our thought was going to be here anyway, counting the minutes to lunch. Well,
not all, however, were these small activities that seemed to keep me in the
present, in the only reality I knew as real and achievable.
But until lunch still lacked
some time! First, we would help with the
decorating for Halloween party, then we would follow for lunch and later take
care of costumes. With this in mind, know that Diane is always one step ahead, gives
more confidence, in the tasks that are coordinated by her. During this period Dianne
was one of the pillars that kept me
connected to myself. Her demanding at every requirement for a task recalled me
of who I was and for who I was there. The girls needed my support and my focus on every task assigned to me.
Rose: So Dianne, where do we
begin?
Dianne: Sofie and Charlie,
are with the informatics on the stage. You can stay with us to take care of the
decoration, okay?
Rose: Of course, let's do
it!
Three hours passed and we
weren't even close to being over, however, the gym was unrecognizable. Next
week there would be no physical education classes here! Yes, here at school,
parties, celebrations, diplomas deliveries are, practically, all here at the
gym. On those times the physical education classes are outside. Are the best
classes! The fields are large and surrounded by nature. The calm that it
transmits fills our soul of tranquillity.
After a class outside, I always feel like I just got out of the spa. Much is
the merit of the teachers in this field. They are extremely active when it
comes to the care of the safety of students and academic and social
development, with activities designed to detail and giving us the space to
learn and grow. Example of this is the
FairyTailors, their academic achievements in recent
years consolidated their hold now in well-deserved success, having at themselves
the attention they grab at each performance.
Sofie: Girls, the stage is
set...
Monic: Good! Let's have
lunch then, I'm starving.
Dianne: Where are the boys going?
Sofie: The stage is set, but
we need to do the sound check... What do you say if we make our general
rehearsal here?
Monic: I’m in, but let's
have lunch first, okay?
Dianne: Ah? Where did they
go?
Sofie: They went to get our
lunch. I coordinated with Charlie to do the general rehearsal here instead of
going home. Thus, we save travel time to come and go. When we finish it we
follow, then, to the parties and costumes shop!
Dianne: Okay! After lunch,
we finish the decor all together and make
the general rehearsal.
Said and done! We put the last
decoration almost at the end of the afternoon, but it was worth it, it was
amazing. The girls went up to the stage, tuned the instruments and began their
general rehearsal…
