We need to keep together (S1 Ep.12-7)
What we didn't know, nor could have guessed was the news that was to come.
After school, we follow all together, with a huge frame, despite the looks, from those watched us pass, be, somewhat, annoying, the looks of Dianne and Monic, for me and Joan, were it much more.
I had 1001 questions require an answer, the only reason I was held was for the girls. Couldn't take them away from Joan, could not be selfish right now.
Although my suspicions were that Joan would be somehow involved in what happened to them, could not judge based on assumptions. And tell them about Elizabeth was out of the question. If the news spread didn't want to imagine what would Joan do or worse, what they would do to her if they found out her true nature.
The silence was overwhelming, but before me were three people who were about to lose their ground and would need all the support.
Sofie: Come on in, girls.
Dianne, Monic, Rose and Joan: Surprise! – We scream displaying the photo frame, in widescreen, from the altar left to the FairyTailors.
Sofie: Ah, how cute! Oh, you are so sweet, thank you, girls. – Her sweet smile did not hide the swelling of her eyes, as if she had spent the day crying. Sofie loves school and has to stay at home for two more days resting was not her option, nor the only reason for her sadness.
Rose: So, how are you?
Sofie: Oh, I'm fine, but you know my mother ...
Joan: We brought you all matters, with all notes and appointments possible to take as you like.
Sofie's eyes filled of tears, what she was about to say cut her from the inside.
Dianne and Joan: What’s wrong?
Monic: We talk to your mom and we ask her to let you go to school tomorrow.
Rose: Don't stay like that, Sofie.
Sofie: Girls ... Ah ... I can't be in the band anymore.
Dianne: Why?! Sofie, please don't do this to us.
Sofie: Sorry, but I have no choice. – She cleaned up the tears that were falling over her face and continued. - My mother ... She thinks that what happened to us was of our music fault.
The reaction of Joan, intensified my suspicions. Her embarrassment, to my eyes, awarded to her the guilt of what happened with the girls.
Dianne: We talked to your mom, maybe we can make her see how unfair she is being!
Sofie: Not worth Dianne. I tried, but she's irreductable.
Dianne: Sofie, cannot be, we can't give up our dream like this.
Sofie: I don't want you to quit for me. I would never forgive myself if you do.
Monic: We are together for better or for worse!
Dianne: Yes, that's our dream. And we're not giving up.
Monic: What are you thinking of doing?
Rose: The exams girls!? Doctors didn't tell you possible causes?
Sofie: No!
Dianne: The doctors had no explanation, the tests showed that we are well. We need to make your mother see that she’s wrong.
Sofie: But how? These things don't just happen by magic.
With the words of Sofie, I looked for moments to Joan, she was staring at the ground, as she lift her head, her red cheeks, her embarrassed look asked me to keep her secret.
Sofie: Tomorrow we embark for the continent. My mom wants me to do new exams.
Joan: If there is nothing to stop you from playing, try to speak again with your mother. I'm sure she will understand that it is your dream, all of you girls dream!
Dianne: Yes! Joan is right! Will you try? We're going to be a call away.
Sofie: Okay, I'll try.
Dianne and Monic: Always together! -Expressed in a wistful tone and hugged Sofie.
Dianne: Come here you two. Group hug.
Rose: Everything will be fine, you see.
