Looking for answers (S1 Ep2-6)

When arrived at the city centre she went straight to the Municipal Library. She was looking for answers and she wouldn't rest until get them. I was so far from the true reason for her concern, but nothing, nothing would make me guess what was coming.
In one of her dreams Joan saw a book with clarity, as she focuses on this idea she could see two words "Mallevs Maleficarvm" which were capitalized, highlighted from the rest of the cover.
She searched for their meaning and origin. When she identified the language translated them. Joan was incredulous about what she had discovered. -"How could anyone be so wicked!?”
If her search was right, the book referred to a handbook from the end of the 15th century, a book that became the guide of the inquisitors who pursued who were accused of practising witchcraft. Without facts or truths, these individuals, in their black hoods, made a real hunting for their peers, ending whole villages at once.
In the Municipal Library there was a section of the occult, the more she read about it the more she wanted to find out. Her curiosity was piqued and here, in this section, resided the hope of Joan in finding answers. She’ve been anxious all week, but the subject required some privacy, for this, nothing better than a Saturday morning in an empty library.
Joan: There must be something in this books that explain what's wrong with me.
After a few hours flipping through book after book, learn a lot about a subject that had long fascinated her by the countless possibilities that presented, the excitement of just with a gesture, or a thought a difference was made, turning ugly in beautiful, how she desired that would be true, desired that magic existed. Now this desire carried a certain fear, what she learned was not the result of a pure heart, but of weakness, was the result of fear of the unknown. However, she wanted to know more, she wanted to understand the voices she heard, where they arose from, why had visions of her and me in other eras, why her dreams were "cursed" as she said to herself, then.
She found nothing that references or explains some of these doubts. Until encountering a symbol that was not strange to her - this symbol ... Is very similar to the symbol of my dream!
With the advance of the time the library was about to close, so Joan took the material of her research, photocopied the pages that she needed, kept the books and went to her house with the mind repeating, again and again, specific words…
