4th Episode – The Start of the Project (S1 Ep.4-1)
The awakening of a new reality
Monday, June 17
Joan awoke with the memory of each moment of her dream. If before she felt fear, numbness, for every revelation felt in fractions of seconds, now she felt strength, confidence in what was to come. Something was about to be revealed and Joan knew it would be something very important, something that had happened in the past and brought her up to this moment. She was filled with new questions, new theories, she could hardly contain her excitement with everything involved, she just wanted to tell grandma the dream she had just had and what she had stumbled upon.
Were the spirits of her ancestors trying to talk to her? What she felt at each flash be they trying to reach her?! Or would her dream be memories of a past life?!
Well, now, and despite the numerous questions roamed by her thought, a little certainty remained. On the contents, kept secret, in the Mausoleum would be the answer to her questions! Joan dreamed of that place more than once, she was convinced that this was a sign. And she needed to tell someone what was going on, but her dreams, the physical pain she felt when experiencing the visions she had like she was living them, and what she discovered in her research, it wasn’t something that Joan was sure that would be understood by any person. If there was someone who would understand and could help was her grandmother.
She got up so fast and in a quick step went thru all the hallways of the house…
Joan: Joan: Grandma! Grandma? Grandma!? – She looked in every room, but she didn’t find her grandmother.
It wasn't just curiosity, Joan felt a very strong connection to that place as if some part of her was there in need of rescuing. And now she knew that there was a place where her dreams were coming to reality. It couldn't be a coincidence.
Joan: "No, this can not be a coincidence!"
She returned to the room wondering where her grandmother might have gone and then recalled that her grandmother had gone to the house of bread, as she does every morning... Her doubts would not get answers by now. So she took a nice hot shower, spruced up for herself as only she likes to do and with no sign yet of her grandmother, the promise she had done to me was stirring her memory to the approach of the hour which she made a commitment to meet with me at my house, therefore, we could work together on the project. She had breakfast, left a message on the fridge door, stuck by a magnet, and then followed to my house.
