An afternoon dedicated to you (S1 Ep.3-8)

After the vet, we went home. Along the way, I tried to contain my smile for such satisfaction because it still remains the mystery involving the appearance of this little one. But not even the insecurity caused by the fear I felt with the idea of at any time his family appears would make me overlook the care required, nor moments of playing I already imagined.
With the hope that the kitten would continue calm, as he was here, I decided not to call Charlie, instead, I took the bus. I was a little nervous, but it was a very quiet ride back home.
When we finally arrived the kitten was in a heavy sleep, so I put the box on my room’s floor and went to the kitchen to get more water and milk to put next to him. I put also some paper sheets from an old newspaper and looked around wondering if I need to do something more. With the list of things for the kitten, that Mr Luís had given me, I went to the garage. I grabbed my bike and went towards the shop of Mrs Ilda.
I confess that I was hoping to have found more options between the items for pets. I don't know if it was because of this being a small section or because I didn't look for it before, in fact, I never noticed the dimension reserve for this space. However, the essential things were available in two small shelves. I bought food, two bowls, sand, a sandbox and a small toy like a mini-gym. With the shopping bags in the bike’s basket, I went home.
By the time of my return, the kitten was still nestled in the blanket. The bowls seemed intact. I gave him a little petting in his head as an announcement to my arrival, he yawned rising a bit more his head, straightened his tiny body and leaned back again. Watching him resting there, I started to have some ideas, I organized the things I bought and sat down on the rug to draw.
And between drawings and playing with the kitten, the afternoon had passed. By nightfall, I had already planned, practically, all the space for him. The ideas were many, make his bed, toys, decorate his food bowl, where to store his toiletries, make a file for the queries to the vet...
Give him the comfort and love he needs, but I can't resist doing myself the things for him.
