On The Beach (S1 Ep4-11)
Wednesday, June 19
Were almost eight hours and
a half in the morning, Joan, Charlie and I, stood on the beach ready to begin
our practice. Charlie loves sports and
when I proposed him to train us, he didn't hesitate to say yes. We combine the
useful with pleasure, he earned company
for his race three times a week and we'd
save time with his ride. I think my sporting vein comes from the influence that
my brother had on me, I don't practice many sports such as he, but I love
volleyball.
Every year, before we get
back to school, we do a kind of farewell to the summer with a beach party. It's
fantastic, tournaments, picnic and lots of fun.
After practice, Joan and I stayed on the beach enjoying
it, but even so, we didn’t stop the work on
the project. While sunbathing we gather some questions for the inquiry to our
market survey in order to obtain answers that guided us to the best
satisfaction of our future client's requests,
both in terms of materials and products such as accessibility and facilities.
Rose: With the orders to deliver this week, we get some extra money. We
could use it to invest a little more.
Joan:
What's on your mind?
Rose: I was thinking about
talking to Dianne and Monic to put together our own stand at the Summer
Festival, what do you say, Joan?
Joan: It would be great.
Rose: Seriously? – I
insisted a bit because I was afraid to
step forward, increasing our responsibility, without having the support of
Joan. And not knowing what really bothered her, gave me some uncertainties,
that despite Joan’s commitment yesterday and today, not scattered my doubts
about her intention to our project. Maybe because I felt deeply that she had lied
to me my confidence was a little shaken
up.
Joan: Of course! We could
use the time to make inquiries as well. With the influx of the Festival, we can reach more people, for sure!
Rose: I could do some of the
pieces we presented in school and draw new ones. A small collection for back to
school. We need to think about the name of
the brand, we hadn't even discussed it
yesterday.
Joan: It's true, sorry.
Look, what do you say we go out to lunch with the girls?! To catch up and we talk
already with Diane and Monic about your idea.
Rose: Okay!
Joan got on the phone and in
less than ten minutes she had it all planned out for lunch today.
Joan: Dianne and Monic are free
at noon and a half and Sofie just at 1 pm.
Rose: It's perfect! We
already finish here, so we have enough
time to take a dive. Let's go?!
