The photo shoot (S1 Ep.5-8)
She looked around. Peek
through the door of her room. Listened intently. The house did not seem to have
anyone else but us both, as suspected. Once more took the diary and guarded it,
but this time in the top drawer of her bedside table. She took the camera and
returned to the attic.
Joan: Here it is. Let's do
this!
With the camera placed on
the tripod and connected to the computer, then we started the photo shoot. At each flash, every change of decoration,
one more picture to our catalogue.
The fact was something unusual was going on, I couldn't help think
about Joan’s diary, I felt like a whisper in my ear
as if it called me. The flashes seemed to break the incantation and bring me
back to reality. But I wasn't the only one with the thoughts in the journal.
Joan was intrigued by what happened, although she knew we were alone, she didn't
want to risk someone at home found it. She feared how and how much someone could be affected by the knowledge
revealed in those pages. So she would like her grandmother warned her, keep her
secret, learning a little more every day about it, about her past.
While we chose the best
photographs for the catalogue, Joan took
the time to talk again about social networks. She is a big fan, loves the idea
that we can be in constant contact with the family, friends and the world only
through a click!
Rose: On social networks? Hum...
Sofie was ideal for work that part, she's the technology expert... - We were in
this adventure hiding parts of what truly was our summer job, accepting the
risk, fearing that the truth about this could ruin the girls plan for the summer.
Joan: Yes, but she is
working with her mother!
Rose: And if we ask her for
help?! We
could hire her.
Joan: She wouldn’t accept
our payment… Unless the help it is not for us!
Rose: Unless… You right, we
could do some sketches and ask her for a budget.
Joan: We use the logo that
you drew for the decoration material as the official
image, right?
Rose: Of course. We could
also begin to use it in all that is official. Not only as decorations as in the
bags, the labels for the pieces, etc…
Joan: Yes, Yes! Is an
excellent idea. I can handle that part. I'm going to find suppliers of labels.
Oh, and we have to create files, to get a copy of all we create, make it super
professional.
Rose: Wow, look at us. What
we've got so far is amazing. This is a lot of fun. It's
the best summer job ever.
Joan: Yes, it's fun, but I'm
hungry! What do you say if we stay here today and have a snack before you go? –
She was not only hungry, she was afraid of the magic involving her diary. No
one had taken it from the drawer, was
magic, her magic, now she was certain.
Rose: Okay! It seems a good
idea!
