At the Summer Festival (S1 Ep.6-11)
And what could make this big day a perfect day?! My heart screamed with the hope to see Seth when the gates opened… What did not happen. The illusion, the fantasy, raised my expectations, this feeling of not matching is a bitter pain that won't go down the throat, stays stuck, is a strong grip in the heart, that for a moment stops it and makes you icy whole for lack of blood circulation, are thousand needles skewers in the lungs that makes hard to breath. And the worst thing is the awareness of all this in a matter of seconds, the perception of rejection of a subconscious wish, about which we have no control.
Joan: Rose! Are you all right?
Rose: Yes ... Anxiety, I think!
Joan: I hear you, a lot of people. Drink some water, it will do you good! - They were many people entering the gates of the Municipal garden, but the one I most wanted to see, unfortunately, I did not.
Rose: Maybe it's better not start with the inquiries. We left them for when there is more dispersion, can it be?
Joan: I agree!
The hours went by, and while I and Joan were reviewing in an attempt to make the inquiries, I started to be content with the idea that wouldn't see Seth.
Joan: It's almost 10 P.M., let’s close the Bank?
Rose: Yes, let's! I’m exhausted from walking back and forward.
Joan: But you're going to be for the opening concert, right?
Rose: A bit, Yes.
Joan: Good! So we stopped by security to leave the safe and we're headed there.
Rose: All right! – We organized it all, close the table and went to the main building of the garden. When we got there my heart skipped a beat when next to one of the food stands, I spotted... - "Seth! Cannot be, can it?" – I thought, idealizing the next moment, however, I was so tired that even doubted my sight. - Joan, I'm a little thirsty, you don't want to get a drink?
Joan: Yes, I also want something without being water. I don’t think I ver drank as much water as today... – As she turned to the food stand closer to her she saw Mikhael and practically forced me to enter the main building alone. - Leave the safe inside, I'm going to get our drinks.
Rose: I'm coming with you…
Joan: No need, save us some time. The concert is about to start! Don't forget to put the number of the stand and to bring a copy of the register.
Rose: Joan?! – “But what gave to this girl? Barely finish her sentence and leave!"
Joan: Yes, tell me!
Rose: And what do I drink?
Joan: Oh, sorry! What's it going to be?
Rose: An iced tea, please!
Joan: Okay, see you soon.
Rose: I’ll be right back! Wait for me here, okay?
Joan: I will!
