Joan's concern was to find out who was behind the events of yesterday. In her mind, if she kept herself away, we would be safe, because the aim of the attacks was to test her, to test her control over her gift. However, much more was the intention hidden. For stronger that Joan was, without motivation would never give in to Anna or Elizabeth and this was the real fear of Joan, that her best friends paid the price, once again, for her immaturity in managing an attack, bowing to the absolute law of her people…

Reading book after book, sought a solution to find others like she. Remembering her first life, the night of the attack more precisely, knew few were those who escaped, yet her lineage continued not only thru her family.

The spell of protection on the gym referred her thought to her past life. The time that she had lost her dear Katarina to the insanity. The time when her brother, Mikhael, consumed by the pain of the loss of his beloved Anastacia, wandering aimlessly, without self-esteem. The time when imprisoned Anna and banished Elizabeth. Made her think of Nina, a good soul that had refund the properties of her family in exchange of nothing. Just wanted to keep the history of this family protected, the Benefactress, as she called her. And by the advice of this, was then that Joan had put a spell of protection on their land. The impure would remain on the side of the barrier which met and could not pass, thru that would be exposed, easy to identify and banish! With this act said farewell to her, then, great friend, Nina.

The essence of her people was pure. Protect, live and let live was their maximum.

Joan: But not as Mikhael thought. No! We protect and that was the intention. Protect! The newborn attacked by disorientation. It was by consequently, not by origin... - Said to herself, completely abstracted from the surroundings. And therefore not heard the arrival of Mikhael.

Seth: Joan?

Joan: Mikhael, we were wrong.

Seth: About what?

Seth: What did you find?

Seth: But who created the newborn and why it attacked you?

Joan: I don't know! I believe we were in the wrong place at the wrong time. It wasn't a test my brother. There is another witch among us, an ally!
