In the School Library (S1 Ep.9-7)

After Joan and I say goodbye to the girls, we finished our lunch and went to the school library. My thoughts wandered about the tone in the voice of Dianne like it was my conscience demanding an explanation, requiring to be open about my project with Joan to the girls...

Rose: Dianne is suspicious and, knowing her as we know her, she's not going to rest until she knows what we're doing for sure.

Joan: You're right, but if she insists on investigating not only she will have a lot of work as a big surprise.

Rose: I think we should tell them. After all, they are our best friends, they will keep it a secret!

Joan: I know that but it's not fair to make them keep a secret that is not theirs. – The way she expressed supported a certain sorrow. She also kept secrets and was carrying their weight alone…

I realized exactly what Joan wanted to say, though I didn't think, with her expression, she was referring only to our secret, in a way, I felt she was justifying herself for the attitudes that she had been having in the recent months.

The reasons why we choose to keep something secret, are several, among them the fear of the acceptance, the invasion of our privacy, the fear of negative reviews. When we expose something that's so dear to us, we are subject to them, because we are all different, with different tastes and perspectives. But the fear that I saw in the look of Joan was much more than just fear of not being understood, I saw the fear of not being forgiven! Curiosity it is such a virtue as default, for it I had already carry a barrier that Joan had created, for it, I met Seth, but for the friendship of Joan, I put it closed under lock and key. The story of wellness rituals did not convince me, but my curiosity is not more important than Joan.

Having sensed the ambiguity of her reply, I didn't insist. The project was not only mine, but it was ours! And if at first, because of my embarrassment, Joan had respected the fact that I want to keep myself anonymous, now, I also respect her in her will to keep the Kat Rose Fashion our little secret.

When we got to the library, we choose one of the tables with computers. And just so the problems beyond our project were suspended. Liberated our minds to focus on the job we had ahead of us. At least both had the ability to disguise our storms regarding the sensitivity of the subject that we discussed.

After the homework done, today task was our production plan. We already had the manufacturing method, we had scheduled our daily tasks, we lacked to make a wider search of suppliers with the materials we use. Compare prices, distances, the possibility of pre-orders of material, that sort of thing. Everything in detail so that when we do our pieces, we have not missing material and the one we have have to be more into our availabilities as possible.

Many were the aspects to be taken into account, but the raw material was a priority because two of our features are reliable store and brand of quality!
