There is someone else out there… (S1 Ep.10-2)

In the meantime, when leaving her family mausoleum, Joan's cell phone rings. It was Seth, he thought Rebecca was the reason why he was arrested in the gym building but did not know why she still kept him there.

Joan: Don't waste your time. It's done!

Seth: So, you can let me out now.

Joan: From where?

Seth: I'm not in the mood, Rebecca.

Joan: Where are you, Mikhael?

Seth: Stuck in the gym…

The words of Mikhael awakened something in Joan. She knew it wasn't her doing. There were another witch and something told her that it wasn't a coincidence, the attack of tonight. She returned to the library, grabbed the White Diamond and headed to the school gym.

Joan: We’ve got to get out of here.

Delivered the diamond to Mikhael and they both got out.

Seth: This is getting out of control. You're getting out of control! I have been patient because I can only imagine what you have passed, but enough is enough, Rebecca! This is not a game, it's not a joke! You can't control people to your beautiful pleasure.

Joan: Are you talking about yourself or Rose?

Seth looked very serious to Joan and not uttered a single word. The change in his face was quite explicit in how he was feeling.

Joan: Mikhael, you're scaring me.

Seth: Did you lost completely the notion of the gravity of your actions?!

Joan: No… I accept the consequences, but you are mistaken to think that you get stuck in the gym was an act of mine. It was not my doing.

Seth: Who else would play with their gift…

The look on Joan’s face expressed offence, she felt wronged. If once enjoyed of her magic to create mazes with colourful gardens, full of beauty, it was also from this magic that she used to protect their essence.

Joan: Everything I’ve done I did it to protect you, the guardians and Anastacia. I may not have the knowledge that I had once, but don't think I would gamble with your life…

Seth: I am sorry, Rebecca. Try to understand...

Joan: I understand. But now we have another issue to worry about. Those two have no magic... If it wasn't I, if you didn't bring Simona, there's someone else out there!

Seth: If I am around, I could...

Joan: I took care of it, but I don't know if I can do it again. What you can do is try to figure out who's behind this.

Seth: The attack was planned to test you, it was a trickery. Think about it! Easily could feed on prey that was alone, erased his memory and it would be as if nothing had happened, but it chose you and on Halloween night, attacked by instinct.

Joan: Yes, it was a newborn. I easily felt it.

Seth: Who needs you, Joan? Think!

Joan: I don't know...

Seth: Think Joan, think! Whit who are you in debt?

Joan: I don't know... Whit no one!

Seth: Sorry Joan, I can't keep the distance. Not with Rose in danger.

Joan: Mikhael, my brother, I love you and for that love I gave in to the request of Anastacia, condemning her to return to this world, but you have to give her some time, we have to make sure that she will understand.
