Between life and death (S1 Ep.11-7)

Sofie and Dianne were lying there, immovable, in a complete vegetative state. At the door, next to the room, was Mario, in tears, helpless. To see them like that we could not contain the tears.
Rose: Mário, we came as soon as we heard.
Joan: Tell us how they are!?
With tears falling down his face and with his voice breaking, Mario answered – between life and death.
Rose: How did this happen?
Mario: They do not have an explanation. When I got to the rehearsal the ambulances were already there. Sofie's mother, found them lying on the garage floor, drained blood from the nose.
Rose: What? Oh my God...
Mario: Sofie's parents are working hard to bring the best neurosurgeon... Monic still being observed, they're doing a series of tests… I don't know... I don't understand, minutes before I had talked to Dianne, she seemed okay…
Joan: Rose, boys, I'm sorry, but I can't see them like this... I ... I need to go. If you have any news, please let me know as soon as possible.

Rose: Are you leaving?
Joan: I have to go, Rose. It is important!
"More important than your friends?"
I know that the fact we are here standing, powerless, in the face of such a situation, does not any harm, nor help. However, I remembered an article I had read, which meant that while in a coma, patients listened, felt the present and through this power, they would find a way back to us.
So, my intention was to stay close to them and as soon as possible, make them know that we were all here, praying for their recoveries, hoping their will would be to return to us.
Joan left the hospital rushing. And when already outside of all the environment involved, wiped away the tears, took a deep breath, containing the cry and called Mikhael.
Joan: I need you one more time my brother, may we meet in Ancient Library?
Seth: In five minutes I'm there! Your voice is shaking, what happened? Is Rose all right?
Joan: Rose, yes, she is! But... Sofie, Dianne and Monic were hospitalized and I'm the one who provoked this situation... – With a quick step addressed to one of the taxis parked at the entrance of the Hospital. - ...I have to revert it, I have to save them!
