The Plan (S1 Ep.11-4)
Rose: But ... What are you thinking of doing? Not going to hurt her, will you! – Their eyes crossed between each other transposing more than their words. – I find it hard to believe that a girl so sweet like Joan is capable of so much evil.
Francis: Rose, I believe the accomplishments of Stella have been driven by black magic. - Both by his tone as his expression conveys a genuine concern, something that I didn't see nor in Elizabeth, or in Anna, but I wanted to know more, wanted to learn about this idea as surreal as the dreams that show me another reality, which I couldn’t escape. – In a most fragile moment of her life, the loss of someone who was very dear to her, may have been the gateway. If we draw the magic, absorbing the spirits that control her, Joan will not suffer any injury. Will have a normal and mortal life. Our people have pure origins, cause suffering is not part of who we are.
Rose: How can you take away a part of who she is and not make her will?
Francis: Will be not an easy process, however, is the only way to keep her spirit safe.
Rose: What you ask is too much... I won't be able, she will see through me, any step I’ll make she will know!
Elizabeth: Francis can protect you. We will only be able to do it if all together.
Rose: All right. What do you want me to do?
Francis: First I'm going to put on you a spell to protect you. Any magic that Stella can use about yourself will have no effects. - In a few words, Francis had done something that even though I couldn't see, I felt it... It's hard to explain... My senses seemed sharper. - At this location, the only point with a pike of mystical energy is in the ancient ruins. When I went by, I felt its strength! Some tragic event marked that place. By overload, Stella will be vulnerable and, only then, I will have an opportunity to reverse the direction of energy flow, returning it to the spirits.
Rose: She won't suffer, will she?! – The idea of hurting Joan terrified me, but what Elizabeth told was too severe. "Joan had really changed since her fifteenth birthday, too!" It was too much of a coincidence in all, the confidence in what I’ve heard grew, how could I’ve known…
Elizabeth: Remember you can always count on me and please don't give the impression that you know the truth. To stop her we must draw her powers, is the only form to Joan be safe from black magic.
