“We” are more than one (S1 Ep.13-11)

In our group, for example, me and the girls whenever we can we are prepared to put hands to work, Dianne wouldn't have it any other way. And let's not forget the boys! Although they may come, thwarted sometimes, by the early hour, they're here all the time. Perhaps dragged by Charlie, but they come. And from year to year, our group grows. Last year joined Richard, this year to the happiness of Dianne, Mario joined too.

This is one of the reasons why I love these gatherings, the proximity that gives us to people totally different from us, but when we come to meet them we learn that the differences are not that much, we have far more in common than meets the eye can see.

Another reason why I love, especially the Christmas season it's, perhaps, because is the only stage that I "got on" and can control my nerves. Have four more elements next to me help!

Dianne: Rose, do you know what I'm thinking?

Rose: No! – With a smile, I added. - I can't read minds!

Monic: I know and I agree with you.

Rose: So?

Sofie: Yes! After seeing the project fit in well.

Rose: You know it too?! Are you telepathic? - The girls laughed at my admired air. Without having some idea of what they were talking I added. - Do you know what I was thinking?

Dianne: In how great would be Kat Rose Fashion participate in this event, associating as a sponsor!

Monic and Sofie: Exactly…

Rose: Seriously, are you telepathic?

Monic: No Rose, we're on the same page, so we understand each other so well.

All smiled with her words. For a moment I thought Monic, Sofie and Dianne, hide a secret so powerful as Joan. I got scared, don't deny it!

It was hard to talk about the project in the singular, although Joan was present, with each passing day she got distant not only from me, as from our project.

Rose: The idea is to Kat Rose Fashion participate next year. New collections, more product variety, a series of novelties. We're a little dependent on the outcome of the next fashion show. The truth is that only makes sense if there is interest.

As Joan put her head down, I'm sure my words were heard.

Dianne: Rose, it’s your turn! They're calling your name.

Rose: I’ll be back, girls!

Dianne: Wait! They're calling for me too.

While Diane and I were getting away Monic saw her opportunity to join Joan and Sofie in her plan.

Monic: Girls, we have an important task ahead.

Joan: What's up Monic?

Monic: Dianne is a bit dismayed, thinks we're going to forget her birthday. Next Sunday we have to surprise her like never before.

Sofie: What's the plan?

Monic: I got permission from the President to decorate the gazebo. We use the Christmas lights already put on and Charlie and the boys treat the details during our performance. Joan, I need you to take care of the cake…

Joan: Count on me.

Monic: At the stroke of midnight we take her to the garden to see the fireworks. Sofie goes ahead to warn you and then let the magic happen.

Sofie: It's going to be incredible… Does Rose already know the plan?

Monic: Not yet! I'm going to send her a message to meet me outside while you distract Dianne, okay?

Sofie and Joan: Of course.

Monic: There they come, absolute secrecy girls!

Dianne: I'm very curious to know who it’s from!

Rose: This is so exciting! We opened all together, can it be?

Dianne: Sure!

Sofie: Rose, I think I felt your phone vibrate.

Rose: Should be Charlie, to meet after ... - It wasn't Charlie, was a message from Monic asking for, when she was called to the stage, I would say that I had to go to the bathroom and then met her outside. I thought it was strange. With the hustle and bustle of the day the ideas were not well based, but suddenly it dawned on me. Dianne's birthday!
