In The Ancient Library (S1 Ep.15-3)

Joan: What do you mean?
Francis: Please! – Said indicating the way to the stairs.
Joan: I can't do it. I won't do it.
Francis: Infanta, forgive me, but you must do so, otherwise she's doomed.
Seth: What are you referring to?
Francis: Why do you think the castle was invaded? Why do you think the persecution continued and continues to this day? She is the reason.
Joan: What do you mean?
Francis: She is the light that will fade the evil from this world. And it all started with you ... - Stated, looking at Mikhael.
Seth: What?
Joan: You're not making sense.
Francis: Don't you remember the prophecy?
Seth: I’ll take her downstairs.
Francis: Good! Why don't we all go?!
As Mikhael descended the stairs Francis followed him, then Joan accompanied them, closing each section behind her.

Seth: I take her to the bedroom, Joan? – Questioned her in the hope that she understood he needed help on my change of clothes and she followed him.
Francis: OK! I'm right here waiting for you. – Francis read about the Ancient Library but never seen it. He was amazed. He could only imagine, the stories, the spells and incantations present in each book.
Joan and Mikhael, with me in his arms, headed to the bedroom. He put me on the bed. In a flash had retrieved from his closet a shirt and some pants. Handed them to Joan and went to Francis.
Seth: How do you know about the prophecy?
Francis: Many were the stories written about our people. The elders wanted to preserve our very essence, conveying their knowledge. However new stories were emerging. Create the confusion was the purpose, divert us from reality. Soon we learn to keep our mind, to see the truth in the words. A little help from the benefactor. I believe here was the beginning of her story. Out here was where the Infanta had written about her deeds, right?!
Joan look Mikhael surprised. How could he know that much?
Joan: Do you know who she is?
Francis looked to Mikhael and responded.
Francis: Yes! She has been fighting for our survival. Was she, that by the time, taught us the way of truth.
Seth: Did you meet her?
Francis put his head down, for a few seconds was thoughtful.
Francis: I was seven, the night was lit up by street lamps. We were protected and for decades that we didn’t hear about attacks. We never let the guard down, never... Suddenly everything was burning around me. Despite the efforts, the fire would not extinguish... I heard the screaming, they were everywhere. Their weapons were indestructible. My mom put a protective shield about us and we run, we run to reach the entrance of the basement and thru the caves, protected by the elders who had the gift of magic, escape. But before we could reach it one arrow pierced the shield, piercing her chest and she fell. I was scared, lost, without understanding how it was possible… I couldn't stop crying, knelt down next to her to hear what she was saying. She told me that she would always be with me, grabbed my arm, putting about me a spell of secrecy threw me on the boxes next to the trash. I blacked out and there I was with my body hidden among boxes. When I woke up, startled, I looked at where my mother had fallen, her body was no longer there. I looked at my arm, had the image of her pending... I felt so much energy flowing through my body, I felt her. With her last breath gave me her energy.
Joan: I'm so sorry, Francis ...
Francis nodded and continued.
Francis: I still hear the screams and I knew I hadn’t the strength to fight them. My mother was strong, stronger than I could ever imagine being... And succumbed. What could I do? With her stories in the heart, wiped the tears, I got up pulling me to the dustbin. I was determined to give it my best shot, protect or die trying… I took a deep breath, I put my head down and then I realized... I wasn't hearing anymore the screams, only the sound of the fire consuming what was left. I rushed to get home, hiding between the corners. The flames had devoured the village, I was surrounded by rubble. No one else was left, I was alone... When I saw this figure heading in my direction, my heart sped up, put me back on my feet and with the tears dropping my face said it would pay for what it did to my mother. I was so full of anger, with all this energy…
