“Hypnotic Love” (S1 Ep.17-5)

Finally at home! I love the weekend with the girls, all things considered. But I was looking forward to seeing my sweet little Kat. With the help of mother took the luggage inside. When I opened the door, I came upon a cute scene, Charlie was sitting on the couch playing video games with a blanket over his legs and with Kat over it, lying in the warm.

Charlie: Hi Rose. How was the weekend?

Rose: It went well... – Kat freed a softly meowing and lifted his head hoping to receive the cuddle that he loves so much. – Did this little guy behave well?

Charlie: While I was at home, he stayed here with me, on the couch, in the bedroom... This morning I woke up with him lying on my legs…

Rose: It’s because of the cold. He tends to give a few meows in my ear in order for me to open the bed sheets. He tucks in until morning. He’s so cute. – I miss him so much, couldn't stop petting him. Then, he got up, took a turn on Charlie's lap and sit back as if to give me a sign "that's enough, let me rest for a minute, please." - I have the plans to give you. I'm just going to take the bags upstairs, take a copy and then all bring it to you, okay?

Charlie: Of course, leave it on my desk. Tomorrow I speak with professor Seth.

Rose: With professor Seth! Why?

Charlie: He’s the one in charge of the lab.

Rose: Oh, I didn't know.

Charlie: Took the office at the beginning of this school year. Has made good changes, I think that with him in charge we have a chance.

Rose: Diane thinks if we authorize the use of the material that we’ll do for studies, maybe the school allow us to use the equipment at no cost.

Charlie: I thought that too, I didn't say anything to not raise expectations, but tomorrow I’ll give you a right answer.

Rose: Okay Charlie, thanks.

I went into the bedroom, unpacked all of the bags, set it up for tomorrow, got a copy of the plans for the show, grabbed my sketchbook and before I returned to the living room left in Charlie's bedroom the copy as agreed.

I sat on the couch and to lay back Kat came to layer in my legs. Put my sketchbook on the right arm of the couch and tried to focus on the word love. – "Love! How can it be so hard to love someone? You can't be with... You can't be without… It seems that you're blind, he is everything you see... Like it's hypnotic." - And then I had an idea. I started drawing, putting out everything that emerged on my mind. First in the form of a sketch, then with more detail and eventually, with some colour.

I looked at the designs again and again. I was satisfied with the result. It's not a large collection, but with the little time we had, I hoped would be enough for Valentine's stand.

Charlie: Wow! Will you participate in Valentine’s weekend.

Rose: Yes. To raise more funds. Joan is so focused on making the fashion show at the Palace that managed to enthuse the girls with her ideas. They worked so hard to finish the plan... I have to do my best in this small collection. What do you think?

Charlie: “Hypnotic Love”, that is an interesting concept. As for the funding, I think mom has a surprise for you...

Rose: What is it?

Charlie: On Friday night I heard her talking on the phone, I think she was talking to a bank. Yesterday spend the morning out and spent most of the afternoon on the phone, too. As I heard her speak about your project, I was curious. Over dinner, I asked what was going on...
