More secrets... (S1 Ep.15-12)

And as agreed by the message Joan came to the house after lunch. We discussed various subjects of Kat Rose Fashion brand, however, I didn't have a chance to pull the subject of last night. In fact, by the middle of the conversation, I forgot the questions that tormented me. The enthusiasm in the project had enfolded me and I just wanted to let some of the important points based so we could move forward.

Joan: Hey.

Rose: Hello Joan, come on up.

Joan: Good morning D. Marya.

D. Marya: Hello Joan, good morning.

Joan: So, how are you?

Rose: I'm better. I woke up with a severe headache, but I hardly feel it now, just some finely chopped. Nothing more.

Joan: Yesterday you gave me a fright!

Rose: I had already wake up a little indisposed, I hope I haven't spoiled the night.

Joan: No, nothing like that. Look, the girls they send you the best.

Rose: I got their messages. I wish I was there helping them.

Joan: Don't worry. I was there until lunch and I assure you they have lots of people to help. I thought you'd be resting today!?

Rose: I can't be still. We're in the final line and we still have a lot to deal with. We have to do the casting, do the proofs, chose the space, the decor, do the invitations, the box office, complete program... Anyway, a lot of things.

D. Marya: I'm going downstairs get juice, do you girls want anything?

Rose: Do we have orange juice?!

D. Marya: Yes. Joan?

Joan: Orange Juice too, please!

Rose: How is space and decorations situation?

Joan: I found the perfect space but gets a little tight for our budget, we need sponsors.

Rose: That won't be easy. Which space is it?

Rose: I understand you, believe I do, but that it is too costly, Joan. Even with sponsorship, we will not be able to cover all expenses.

Joan: You have to see it, it's the perfect place.

Rose: I know the Palace is open to visitors every day, we wouldn't have how to set up everything for that much audience. We will need at least three weeks to a month. And I don't have the idea of the garden be that big.

Joan: But it is! And as we plan to do the show outdoors, there won't be any inconvenience. We just have to get the license. For this we need your mother, she is our legal representative. And ...

Rose: And?

Joan: She will have to sign a statement of responsibility.

Rose: I think we should play it safe… We could use the school gym. I'm sure that authorization is more into account, we save on the tier of benches.

Joan: And where would we do the After Party?! The garden is very small. To not mention that the benches don't have more than a thousand places. I have responded to the emails, people were hoping that the brand had autumn/winter collection, as I explain I was promoting the show, we've had super enthusiastic responses! The interest in the show is growing, we cannot do it in a space so small. The Palace we can have space for about ten thousand spectators, in the gym just for a thousand, fifteen hundred maximum if we use the space next to the stage.

D. Marya: Girls what's wrong?

Joan: Rose doesn't want to understand that we need ample space to do the show. We’ll have the girls performing, I have passed the word of the fashion show, people have been receptive, we need to match the expectations.

Rose: If anything happens we won't be able to cover the damage.

Joan: Why do you have to be so pessimistic…

Rose: I'm not being negative, just realistic. The brand is new, we just did a small collection ...

Joan: Two! The spring/summer and back to school.

Rose: Yes, it's true…

Joan: And both had success, why would now be any different?! You have to believe more and yourself!

D. Marya: Where do you want to do the show?

Joan: In the palace garden, next to the Lake. Rose wants in the school gym.

Rose: Just because it's more into account! And if we can't get sponsorship?

Joan: You're giving up without trying.

D. Marya: Let's calm down a bit. Prepare the casting to choose the models, make the proofs and the photo shoot for the catalogue. Then, together, we're looking for sponsorship. All right?

Joan: Thank you, D. Marya.

Rose: All right!

I loved Joan’s idea, but fact is fact. We are at the beginning and I think it is precipitated a step so great. But she gave me an idea with the Palace…

In the following days, Joan spent the morning practising with Francis and after lunch here she was working for, next week, we be able to do the casting. Classes begin the day six, so after the new year, we would have the time needed to do it.

By the end of January we had to have all pieces made, the models chosen, the proof of the outfits done and one more little surprise.
