Rose & Mystery (S1 Ep.18-5)
The
morning passed between smiles and dreams. Although I tried my heart would never
let him go. As painful as it was, I tried... Mikhael was part of my being,
there was no distance that could separate us, there was no pain that could erase
his memory. "Let his mark on me, with a simple look, with a simple
smile."
Despite
the physical distance between us, he was there, so close. In my heart I knew
that Mikhael would be with me every step of the way, watching me, like a
guardian angel. And for me, that is enough… By now.
Joan:
Hey! I'm here, you can go to your lunchtime.
Rose:
Okay. I'm going to eat outside in the garden. It's fast, be right back.
Joan:
With no hurries. You have time.
While
I was removing the lunch box under the stand Sara approached to us, all
smiling.
Sara:
Hello girls!
Joan
and Rose: Hi Sara.
Sara:
I got the ticket to the show, I can't wait to see it! I don't think I've ever
seen holograms.
I
exchanged a look with Joan, we were both lost. The disclosure posters mentioned
nothing about it, we wanted to keep the expectation of the surprising.
Joan:
How do you know that there's going to be holograms?
Sara:
Oh! It was a surprise? Peter told me about the work they have developed in the
lab. I did not tell anyone else, I swear.
Rose:
It’s okay. Even us, that work for the brand, are eager to see it.
Sara:
Between you and me, who is the artist behind these incredible creations?
Rose:
From what I know is someone just like us...
Joan:
...Ya, as any of us, but more private!
Sara:
Uh... You got weird. – Frowned the eyebrow, watching, waiting for our next
reaction.
Joan:
Nup. So, you've got a souvenir for Pedro, for this weekend? We have some choices here...
Sara:
Do you still have the hearts with the lucky messages? I found the idea
fascinating, send the message without knowing what is written, only that
"love is our destiny," how romantic ... See!? This is what I'm
talking about! Who has these ideas?!
I
shrunk the shoulders working on the response to her request on the hearts. Her
enthusiasm was catchy and satisfying. Her joy to see our creations, admiring them,
transmitted an extraordinary sense.
Rose:
Yes. What combination of colours that you prefer?
Sara:
Black and white, please! – I extended her the vase so she could remove her
favourite. - Thank you!
Rose:
You’re very welcome.
Joan:
What was that?
Rose:
I don't know! It was weird but interesting.
Joan:
How so?
Rose:
You know Sara. Spend too much time in silent, observing, but when she speaks, she
really speaks. And if she doesn't know who is "the artist", it means
that one of our objectives are achieved.
Joan:
Are you sure you don't want to receive the credit for your work, personally?
Rose:
I'm satisfied just to be able to draw and create my pieces, my gratification is
the smile on every person who uses and loves what I do.
Joan:
It's not that bad to be popular, you know?!
Rose:
But I don't want to be! I leave that part to you and Diane. You know how to
deal with the pressure, I do not. I like being in my corner quietly... Although...
Joan:
Yes?
Rose:
I loved when I walked with you on the fashion show... As Mystery!
Joan
smiled understanding my fascination. I have always loved everything related
to fashion shows, from planning to realization. To me, all this is a world
where boundaries are barriers destroyed collection after collection, by
creativity and innovation. There's always something to discover, there is
always something to do, renew or improve. And in fact, is behind the scenes
that I do most of the work, but there is also this part of me since I put that
mask, who longs for the stage, for parading with the girls.
Joan:
Take your time for lunch, with no rush. Okay?
Rose:
Okay! I’ll be back.
