And so we made our way to the library. From the entry doors, we could already see Dianne and Monic. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Dianne was, by now, with her books open, ready to begin the study session...
Sofie: Like I said, they are here!
…Dianne is the queen of punctuality. Plans everything in advance and in detail in order to achieve the proposed goals. In her classic style, the keyword is timelessness. She is extremely focused and committed to everything she does, which leads to mistaking her attitude for competitiveness and some coldness! She has a tendency to criticize, not only in a negative way, as in a positive way too, but it's not always easy to understand her good intentions. She loves planning, loves to be in control and music. She likes humor, a good clever joke. She doesn't like ridiculous, especially when is she in the midst of an embarrassing situation.
By her side is Monic...
Monic is a friend of her friend and has a tendency to help others. It is very common for to Dianne to resort to her when she "thinks" she has a problem to solve. In addition to being best friends, they are cousins. Monic has a more relaxed style and loves graffiti. She’s understanding and a sweet person, but defends her own, and may even become the worst nightmare of anyone to defend them. For more fragile as she may seem, there is a volcano of energy in her. Monic has a lot of inner strength, which helps her to overcome obstacles and achieve her objectives. She loves nature, and spending time with family and friends. She likes harmony and a family atmosphere. She doesn't like conflicts.
Rose, Joan and Sofie: Hey girls.
Sofie: Already doing homework?
Monic: Hey! No, we just got here.
Dianne: Rose, I need help with mathematics, do you mind?
Rose: Of course not. We can start there.
Diane: Okay, that would be perfect, thank you. But first of all, I need to know one thing. Joan, do you have any ideas for your party? Your birthday is in less than two weeks and we didn’t hear anything about it.
Joan: Sofie asked me the same thing.
Dianne: Well, it's strange. You mentioned nothing, not even the theme. Won’t you do a party?!
Joan: I will, of course! This year I thought a masquerade ball.
Monic: Seriously! Wow...
Rose: I had the same reaction. It is a great idea.
Dianne: Good! We have the band rehearsal today, but tomorrow we can go shopping together. – She looked around and added. - What do you girls say?!
Joan: That’s a great idea. I have my eye set on a dress, but I need help with the mask. Are you girls playing at prom this year?
Monic: No, but you know Dianne, she likes to be prepared in advance. Already have in mind the victory at the Battle of the Bands in October.
Dianne: I like to win is true, but that's not the point, if we are going to participate we must go well prepared.
