Fair's Week (S1 Ep2-9)
Tuesday, June 11
Yesterday went by so fast... In the morning we were, again, with Dianne supporting her in the Fair’s tasks, helping to assemble the latest tables, composing the last exhibitors. With the early afternoon, the gym’s doors opened to the public and our job was to receive and guide students and parents through space.
Every year, on the first day of the Fair, the Student’s Association attention is dedicated entirely to the freshmen, an important process for the integration of these, once, in their majority, will be here that they’ll find the first job. Is a new step that starts in our lives, more independence, but also more responsibility.
I love this little Fair before the holidays, we get a whole week to plan them and we can safely choose a summer job. But, with the beginning of Festivals and Summer Jobs Fair also started the countdown to the end of the school year, thereby, the day of the Ball is approaching. The decorations are completed, the exams season finished, as well as the finals clothing proofs by the girls.
Yesterday, during the first rehearsal for the show, we did the last proof of the outfits and it was then that Dianne pointed out an important detail that Joan and I forgot completely about… The accessories! We've been so caught up in the design and production of the outfits that we didn't give any attention to accessorizing. In fact, I focused too much on the beach theme and the sense of practice, though, Dianne’ prospect on the glamour of show business had a purpose. I wanted to present my work, yes, but a fashion show has a whole part of entertainment... Joan readily justified the absence of accessories with the excuse that the brand would only let this available on the day of the fashion show, "for security reasons".
Well, in addition to the excitement of my first show, since yesterday the fear of not being able to do all in time was installed. I always give my best in everything I commit myself, but this time is different. I'm going to be in front of the whole school and I'm scared I won't be able to go forward! I'm afraid to disappoint my friends, they have devoted so much and even without knowing it, they do it for me.

Today we have the morning to explore the exhibitors and by doing so Joan notices that will be quite a few festivals this summer…
Joan: By the festival’s poster, you will be super busy this summer!
Dianne: Will be intense, it’s true! But rewarding!
Monic: Well rewarding! Front row to see the babes that are performing. We have VIP access to Backstage.
Sofie: You girls having fun and I scanning files and distributing coffee.
Rose: Look who has a show booked in August!
Joan: Who has, Rose?
Rose: The FairyTailors!
Joan: Well done, girls!
Monic: We will debut the "Launch program for new talent" in the Summer Festival.
Rose: This is fantastic!
Joan: Can you get us tickets? We want to go watch!
Dianne: Of course! Have you girls there is very important to us.
Rose: We wouldn't miss your stage debut for anything. - We met in a warm embrace, with a mix of feelings, but above all with pride in the girl's achievements.
The FairyTailors will debut in the Summer Festival, I'm so excited for them and can't wait to see what they have prepared for the show! They have been struggling enough, they deserve this opportunity. And to see them take step by step towards their dream, grow my motivation and confidence. Grows the hope that it is possible to achieve our dreams with work and dedication.
