I could try... (S1 Ep.1-11)
Rose: Hi mom.
D. Marya: So, how was the
party?
Rose: It was beautiful, the
girls performed and their show was amazing.
D. Marya: Charlie came with
you?
Rose: No, he stayed a little
longer.
D. Marya: Why the worried
face? Is everything ok?!
Rose: Yes. It's just that...
Joan loved my gift...
D. Marya: That's a good
thing.
Rose: Yes, the issue is that
she liked it so much that she thinks we could make some to sell in a bazaar or
put it in a store.
D. Marya: If that's what you
want.
Rose: I want it, but I don't
know how to do it.
D. Marya: Well, like you do
everything else that is important to you. Thinking through the subject, making the necessary plans and with
effort and dedication.
Rose: Mom, do you think I
should try?
D. Marya: What I think is that
tomorrow is a practice day, so you get up early. Sleep on it and take your
decision.
Rose: Yes, I should do that.
Thank you, mom. Good night.
D. Marya: Goodnight my daughter.
I went to my room, thinking.
As I prepared myself for bed, my mind was set on this idea.
After some time of reflection, looking over and over again at my designs, I started to like the idea of sharing my creations. To give the chance to choose! Pick a piece with the same material, but in a different colour, or different material and with the same colour. Create a space where you can go and ask for what you really want and for those who need help have several suggestions. Maybe getting this to people is a good thing.
Still, in doubt, I started a search to learn what I needed to create this space. I found myself thinking - "can't hurt to try, at least in the middle of such doubts, after trying I take a certainty."
Although at the time my greatest fear was the acceptance, the adherence to my pieces, because, that fact was, I just do it simple accessories, with flaps that mom gives me, I cannot deny that the idea of having a space with my creations, as we see on television and in magazines caught me, the more I dream about it with open eyes, more the illusion of such a space was growing on me, my desire to try was bigger than ever.
Alone I wouldn't make it. Well, the idea was Joan’s, let's see what she thinks of embarking on this adventure too!
