Joan and her ideas (S1 Ep1-5)
Tuesday, April 23
It was early in the morning and we were already at the door of the classroom. I had just arrived coming from the bar. I sat, as usual, on the windowsill while I was waiting for the girls, who were leaving their things on the desks, thereby ensuring their favorite places and Joan that I could see at the end of the hallway, coming from the bathroom.
Sofie: Have you noticed Rose’s coin purses?
Dianne: No, why?
Sofie: They are so cute and cheerful! Yesterday she had one in a colour and today has another with a different colour but the same shape. You must see it!
Joan: Hey girls! Let's go to Rose.
Dianne: Monic, hurry up.
When passing by the girls, Joan, couldn't help to hear the subject of their conversation and as Joan is Joan she had one of her out-of-the-box ideas.
Joan: Well, your purses are starting to succeed.
Rose: why you said that
Joan: Sofie liked it so much that she was commenting on them just now. Hum... Rose!
Rose: Yes Joan! - I exclaim waiting for one of her brilliant ideas as only Joan knows to have.
Joan: You are so gifted, have you thought about doing some pieces to sell?
Rose: I'm going to open a shop only with coin purses. - And like I thought, an extravagant idea as only Joan.
Rose and Joan: Ahahaha.
While we joked with her idea, the girls approached and quickly the subject was changed.
Dianne: Girls, after-school shopping, right?
Joan: You got it. Yesterday's band rehearsal was awesome, what do you girls say at sing in my birthday party?
Monic: That would be great. The more we get to show our band the better! Don't you think girls?
Dianne and Sofie: Of course!
Dianne: Would you like some themes in particular?
Joan: Yes! Yours. They are great. I love them.
Diane: Okay! During the rehearsal tomorrow, we plan together a micro concert, then.
Sofie: Good, I can deal with the light set.
Joan: Thanks, Sofie. I'm already imagining... - With a hand gesture continued her description. - ...A small stage at the end of the garden, trees decorated with small lights, torches spread to complement the lighting, small details of masks decorations... – And with the ringing bell her speech was interrupted, but her words put us all dreaming with the party. – Do you see the idea?
Monic: Joan, you should note it.
Rose: Believe me, she will not forget!
